We provide group and private lessons in Ballroom, Latin, Argentine Tango, Blues-Tango and Modern Jive. We aim to be the most personable and friendly of dance companies. Everyone is welcome, and we will help everyone to reach their goals and achieve their personal best.

We keep our prices low…

Many of our competitors spend lots of money on staff / premises / advertising, and as such have to charge more for lessons in order to cover their costs. We don't spend money on unnecessary overheads, so you the customer get cheaper tuition.

We are qualified and experienced…

Dance Devotion is a family run business, with all instructors ISTD qualified and experienced in training many different types of people.

Our lessons last one hour, not 45 minutes…

Many instructors only offer 45 minute lessons - our lessons last the full hour giving you more lesson time for your money.

You will always be the only students in the room during a private lesson…

Many other dance schools have several private lessons going on in the same room at the same time, meaning you have to share the space and may have to dance to the wrong music. Our lessons are totally private. We also ensure that the people coming in for the next lesson wait outside until your lesson is complete, giving you confidence that you are not being watched.

Heather Gibbons

Roger and Heather have spent many years in dedicated study of dancing. Between them they have experience in 15 formal dance styles and have studied with world class instructors both from the UK and abroad. Heather has competed in various dance styles all over Canada and the USA.

All our instructors are istd qualified

Professionally trained and experienced

Heather and Roger are both ISTD qualified instructors, with experience in adapting teaching styles to fit the student. They founded Dance Devotion in 2009 with the intention of bringing maximum pleasure from dancing to all.

We teach with our own Dance Devotion style. A fun approach, which does not forget the fundamentals but remembers that the most important thing for most dancers is that they can have a good time and put their dancing to practical use. Our aim is to make your dancing as good as it can be for the purpose of maximum enjoyment.
